Who Will Be Our Next Manager?

Feelings mutual .... the only thing I don't want is us to start playing bad football I want the new manager to be bold and have us playing with a bit of flair .

 

Said last Tuesday that I could see this dragging on for a couple of weeks, I understand these things take time and we have to make sure we get the right man but hopefully it'll be sorted before the weekend.

 

It seems that the reason Keane didn't take the job as Celtic wouldn't allow him to keep part-time role as Ireland Coach. Probably the right decision, Celtic job requires no other distractions.

 

Looks like he is doing the Villa assistant manager job alongside the Ireland job.

It's not the length of time, mate; it's the fact that no one seems to want to come. Of course I'll be only too happy to eat my words if it turns out to be Clarke, but the impression I have is that this has someone like Coyle written all over it.

So, OK, I don't rate Coyle; but fair * to him, at least he wants the job, maybe he'll surprise me. I never thought Lenny would be as good as he was (though I always thought he'd be a success).

 

Will be getting more cash as assistant than as celtic manager.

So much nonsense speculating why Keane is no longer interested in the job he may or may never have been offered . So much nonsense speculating on people who are on the short list. so much speculating on us looking for top of the range European manager . All pure rubbish and we are making real idiots of ourselves with all this pretence that we know something about the next Celtic Manager . If it hadn't been for MO'N unnecessary and unprofessionally opening his big mouth we wouldn't have made so big of idiots of ourselves jumping on the van wagon of Keane for Glasgow . Not one bit wonder that the SMSM make such fools of us as we gasp every straw and make a story of it .

 

Heard them going on about this on my way to work, they were saying he was only sounded out about job and never actually offered the position.

 

I've read it was only 5m, same as Lennon was gonne get.

 

Hopefully a decent budget of around £8m so he can put his own stamp on the playing squad.

I hate to say it but I think they will give Keane the job.
