I've come to the conclusion that Steve Clarke, Malky Mackay or Oscar Garcia will get the job. Michael Laudrup and Dan Petrescu are both in with a squeak as well.

Oscar Garcia won't be the new manager of Celtic. He's just been named Maccabi Tel Aviv manager on a 2 year deal.

Looks like Oscar Garcia could be on his way back to Maccabi Tel Aviv after Paulo Sousa left to join Basel, reports in Israel that he has agreed a two year deal with them

Manager that took us to CL groups twice in a row leaves. Widely reported Keane is the main candidate and says he doesn't want to be considered. CL qualifiers soon, unconfirmed reports of a meagre transfer budget for whoever the new boss may be. No need for Prozac as some have said but that's cause for worry in my book. Remember lots of no need for panic before the Elfsborg and Karagandy games last season when we hadn't brought in a striker, we very very nearly got our arses felt then.

Ah just noticed mark Hughes finally got a vote. Not that he'd ever come here but that would be a decent appointment.

Gutted over that .. I really thought Garcia would get the job. Give me Laudrup or Steve Clarke now I guess.

What's the big deal with garcia?

He took brighton to the play offs, wowy, the exact same place they finished up in the season before amd was absolutely horsed by derby, a team that beat them all 4 times that season..

Is it because he had a foreign fancy name?

They were a complete shambles at the beginning of the season and he completely turned them around. Also his style of football is one that most would love to see up here.
