This job was made for him, he knows it, you know it everybody knows it.

He will command respect, he will inspire the players and he will demand total commitment to the cause. He will also be happy to work within the current model and he knows the club inside out.

He shows up for a training session and we go out and score NINE!!!!

I want Henrik Larsson! I want him as manager as well.

 

I * love King Henrik, but I'm unsure on how he would be as a manager for us.

 

Well thank * its not misery guts anyway. I dont want Jackie Mac either. Nowhere near ready IMO. Maybe consider him in a couple more years if he get 2nd place and some silverware for United but IMO we should be aiming higher. I dont want another training on the job manager. We got away with that with Lenny but if circumstances had been different we might not have this season for example.

I got to say that I just cannot think of realistic candidates I would like right now. I probably could live with the Steve Clarke angle. I think we need a coach manager who intensively improves the team and is very tactical. That is the only way I can see us getting back to the last 16s while money is being cut back. In short we need a WGS type manager although not WGS himself as he has an important job to do elsewhere.

 

Whats the boss man Slaven upto these days except from rocking out of course.

Just in, whats the story wi Keane, has he been ruled out of the equation, if so this is the best present ever.

 

The pay cut line was a tongue in cheek comment made by Roy Keane several days before the real speculation started. The BBC looking to highlight the Keane rejects Celtic story fail to mention that though.

I've said all along I'd want Clarke, Jackie Mac or Moyes. Hopefully, Clarke would like the job.

 

It was widely reported that Keane is on 500-750k euros a year as the assistant manager - which one of our shareholders pays a share of - and he will be on thousands for ITV per match. Lennon was on much less than Sally, probably under £500k pa, so it would make sense that we would offer Keane similar wages.

 

Said he doesnt want to be considered.

 

Random review so you think I am cynical, maybe you are right , you are entitled to your views, however I was quite correct about Roy and the Celtic job . Due to a mixture of gullible Celtic fans and a non investing media we were led to believe that it was a done deal and Roy was spending his time house hunting in Scotland
Now Celtic have a major problem been turned down by Keane, imagine turned down by Keane. The true situation is Keane hadn't been offered the job so he couldn't turn it down . Only in our eyes and the dim witted Scottish and Irish media eyes was he offered the job .

I am thinking of turning down the manager's job tomorrow or Wednesday . I don't suppose that this will cause as big a surprise .
Seriously we need to turn down the hysteria over nothing .
