    * delighted Keane's not getting the job! Honestly that would have been a disaster.

Garcia or Laudrup please, the former is very possible so I think we should do our best to get him. Come on tae * Celtic!

I would be quite happy with Clark though, I rate him and at least hes not Owen givemeajobplease Coyle

Steve Clarke really doesn't inspire me. I just suspect they are really a last hail Mary for Larsson

Yes because I'm sure either will take a job that Lennon walked away from with no other club there to take him and now keane who would have walked into the job the other week and now had said no!

Keane's an outspoken guy and notorious for it, as well as being a top player.. I can see him revealing exactly what went on and i think that money will be what has scuppered this move..

No arguments here on your last line..

You said that you don't think you're far off. I simply asked why you had come to that conclusion?

And what's with the person dig? Mr Big shot? :97:

Had anyone suggested Gary Neville? He'd be a risk and not my first choice but I can see him being a very good manager.

1.He wanted 100 million to win cl
2.He wanted to do ireland job at same time
3.Decided he didn't want the * that lennon got while here
4.Didn't want to want pull out on Ireland a 2nd time
5.Was in the huff because he didn't get offered it there and then
    6.Family reasons
7.Didn't want to give up his tv work
8.scared of failing after being out of managment for 8 years
9.He had a different idea to the club in what direction the team should be going.

Could be any reason why does it always have to be the board fault.
Why go and interview, same reason as the rest of us if someone says hey got a job for you.
Might be better than what we have.

Lenny reportedly leaving because of funds and not being able to keep players, big players bot comitting and what i see to be a board not willing to push the boat out enough, as well as keane's comments himself although hammer has said it was tongue and cheek..

I feel you ask questions and come across in a condescending way, mostly.. Just my opinion but let's stick to the topic..

I think henrik is still a real possibility especially with keane gone and all the recent Swedish reports.
But they would have to get his clubs approval so he is not seen as walking out.on them and
    Breaking his word.

I wonder how they pick a manager. Like who draws up the list, how do they know who to go for? Do they even think about foreign coaches abroad?

I mean these are old wealthy men, do they really know about up and coming managers in Germany, Switzerland or Holland?

Ah, okay. That really says more about you than it does me to be fair :50:

    Anyway, back on topic....

I doubt they're doing it without help from football people.

*gets out the mobile and calls his PA*
'Who am I playing golf with next week?'

exactly but what about croatia, serbia, poland, boznia, russia, portugal aswell ?

the world of football doesn't only include the bigger successful footballing nations there is plenty of coaches out there

why does it have to be a british based manager ???

the manager can have a british understudy coach
