Points well made but I guess my real concern about RK is that all through his career he has come across as,
'my own man', opinionated -no bad thing,
    stubborn and * minded -bad,
holds grudges (maybe something he picked up from the Govan Alex training manual) and
from his player purchases, especially at Sunderland, a poor judge of what a team really needs to progress.
However he is entertaining on the TV.

I wouldn't be that bothered if we signed him but neither would I think 'hey we're going places.' with Roy at the helm. If we ignore Tony, Mowbray, I would judge his appointment as the poorest since John Barnes.

my initial feeling as well, but if they hire him he could very well be successful.
cant compare to Barnes or Mowbray until its over and you look at the historical data.
    I dont want him.
    I dont like him
but I will support whoever is appointed our manager.

Apparently Henrik Larsson has been in contact with celtic in som way. Not sure if it means anything

``Henrik Larsson is * in the half of Glasgow that has Celtic favorite team.
In seven seasons in the green and white shirt , he led the team to four league titles and scored 174 goals in 221 league games .
So when Neil Lennon last week thanked for himself as coach of the club , it was no surprise that the Swede emerged as a possible successor.
" Not material to break "
42 -year-old was quick to explain that his focus is on the success of Falkenberg.
    - It is not acutely partly to break this agreement , he told Sportbladet then.
Today returns " Henke " to Olympia to lead his team against his old club Helsingborg and in a long interview with Helsingborgs Dagblad may Larsson respond to the newspaper's information about a secret meeting with Celtic .
According to the newspaper's sources landed a private jet from the Scottish club at Ängelholm Airport earlier this week and Larsson should have been in place.
    - Who said that? , He tells the newspaper.
    HD: I can not say.
    - Then I do not know anything either. You can interpret it as you want, says Larsson.
" You understand what it means "
In the same interview , he says that he is ready to move abroad again with the family " if the right deal pops up ."
That he is able to train a team like Celtic , he has no doubts . Much because he knows the club so well.
    - I have seen coaches get there who thought that it was just that slide , but it's more than that. I think I understand what it means to be the coach there and what is expected of you. And I definitely think I'm capable of , say, " Henke " to HD.´´

If as we are told a trained monkey could win us the league , why don't we go for that and employ a Manager for Europe . We could have a top International manager as there are no Internationals during the European weeks .
I have never heard such nonsense in my life about the ability of a trained monkey . I don't know of anyone who have ever trained a monkey in Football management. If you want to post as an idiot go to an idiotic forum .

Keane is the Manager and will bring in his own back room staff.

    Clarke won't be coming.

Although the club can suggest who the number two and other coaches are , it's better that the new Manager chooses his staff, we don't want to start off the new journey with the management not at ease.

Really what doe's it matter, our outgoing manager has stated he wanted a player to stay, the player said he wanted to stay and both left.

Now this past week without a manager our club has given two players a new contract, and chances are there could be more before we get a manager.
Keane will take the job only at a push from his pal DD,for I said back before NFL got the job "who the * would want to be manager of Celtic when you have very little say on what players you want,or want to keep".

Other than someone looking for a job.

McGeady lashes out at Keane after criticism from former Ireland captain

Winger Aiden McGeady has hit back at criticism from former Republic of Ireland skipper Roy Keane.
Keane used a newspaper column to question the 26-year-old Spartak Moscow midfielder's form for his country as he prepares for the Euro 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine.
But McGeady said: 'Roy Keane? He says enough anyway. I played with him at Celtic and that was bad enough.

Say what? Aiden McGeady was not impressed with Roy Keane's criticism

'He is just one of those guys who has something to say about everything. I got on with him as a guy, but he is just one of those guys who has an opinion on everything.
'I never saw it, but they [former players] are entitled to their opinion.
'Over the qualifying campaign, I was probably not great in every game, but I know - not being big headed - that I was probably one of the main players.
'When other people talk about the 'final ball', that is their opinion, but who set up more goals than me in the qualifiers?
'Possibly because I don't get one [cross] in every time, I get criticised.'
