    I agree that PL wanted to convey the message that there is no leading candidate of that there is no doubt. The simplest explanation may be the truth but it is not the only possibility. For me human nature dictates that there is a preferred option/leading candidate. Is this Roy Keane? I do not expect the board to share that information with me or the media.

    Whoever the next manager is, i hope the purse strings are loosened to bring in decent players to help further the club in Europe.
    If that doesn't happen i don't see the new manager staying much past 1 1/2 to 2 seasons.

    My mate just told me that CEltic Underground tweeted something along this lines of...

    MON had no say in Keane becoming his No2 and he (MON) has had talks with DD about Keane becoming Celtic manager and hopefully leaving the Ireland set up.

    Seems a bit daft but there youy go.
