Your a bit out with that assumption pal. Keane is extremely bitter about the way his time with man utd ended and he doesnt speak to Sir Alex. that bridge is well and truely burned.

ofcourse we play possession based football

we may not be as good as other teams especially in europe but that is the style of football we play

i want someone in that can improve that style of play, as that has been proven to be the way forward!
but getting it through to some people especially in scotland is incredibly hard they would want us playing either a physical or/and a fast and loose game or direct football!

and i don't want that to be our sole purpose and neither should any celtic fan if they want us to be a force in European competition

as much as i like keane and think that he would guide us to league victory and be able to negotiate 3 CL qualifying rounds with teams the calibre of the ones we met this year, his managerial record isnt great but rather him than mcnamara, larsson ,mckay ,coyle

Why someone with a brain , I'm not sure any other club has appointed a manager with a brain . Its hard to see how someone with a brain could interact with players who have a reputation of sadly lacking in that department .

I think Charlie is right this club needs a big character and Keane is that character in my opinion.

Also he's Irish so managing an Irish club should make it easier for him..... I think we need to keep with the trend of Irish managers managing this Irish club tbh.
