How can Keane even be considered he's done nothing in management

 

Roy Keanes tackle on Haaland (or whatever his name was) is a thing of beauty.

 

We don't play possession based football at all. Fucksake, we've got the record for the least amount of possession in Europe in the last two seasons.

The football we played under Lennon was turgid. There's a reasons attendances dropped rapidly and not just to with competition.

No idea what style Keano plays but I am excited by his appointment (if it happens) bit of passion and aggresion in a manager and he will no that Sir Alex and MON are just a phonecall away should he need them

 

I would hate Keane tbh.. I just feel he'd disrupt the players (brown especially) and he'd have us playing football in the air.. He'd sell or demote all our flair and purchase big bruisers for a direct long ball game.

The biggest thing is the trust though, I really can't trust him to look after our players and get the best from them.

Celtic should try something out of left & get a more continental guy in.. A guys whos both hard and passive, someone with a brain who can empose change little by little.

I stuck £10 on Owen Coyle when he was 8/1 and another £10 on Malky Mackay at 4/1 as a cover.

At least if Owen Coyle gets the job I will make £70 out of it. There will be no other positives though.

 

I said it was an achievement because you said he'd achieved nothing....nothing about it being enough to give him the job.

 

I doubt he'll phone Ferguson. The two of them have clashed recently, think Keane might carry a bit of a grudge there (I know it seems unlikely as Keane is a shy retiring type)

 

I hope whoever it's going to be they are appointed soon so we can move on to moaning about something else.

 

Ideally we get an announcement tomorrow, but it can't go on beyond next week.

Such an idiot - people were arguing that Keane's tackle made him unfit to manage Celtic and that was against the club's philosophy. Him walking out on Ireland has nothing to do with this.

I think that Coyle and Keane are smoke screens no way can two people be definetely getting the job two days in a row.

It's the same thing though isn't it?? It's not like Barcelona give their youth jobs to people who haven't been with them. It's like saying his achievements are being a Barcelona player and being pals with Guardiola and Villanova.
