    Doubt it.

If its Coyle you can bet many won't renew. Lawwell will hope many renew, anticipating a decent manager. Then he'l hit us with Coyle.

At least dicanio as crazy as he is would be great in the papers and for interviews. Half a squad left by midsession mind you but think it would be similar with keane, play safe get the nice guy who was up there with the best at the game.

Got a really bad feeling its gonna be Keane mate, can imagine DD drooling at the mouth at the thought of him in charge, unfortunately.

The favourite for this job seems to be changing every day.

So far Larsson, Mackay, Coyle, and now Keane have been/are favourites for the job.

My guess is that these are just the guys that have been seen/heard going in for interviews.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Michael Laudrup or David Moyes slip up to favourite over the next couple of days, with the board's choice ultimately decided by Friday 5pm. For me these 6 are the guys we're really interested in. Larsson and Keane are big-name * on seat appointments, while the other 4 are perhaps less exciting appointments but have a bit more experience and are currently out of work.

Would be ridiculous if DD opted for him purely because the thought of Keane as our manager gives him a stoner.:smiley-laughing002:

Got a rather disturbing image stuck in my head now featuring DD, Keane, 2 golf balls and some lube.

I started off my post about George Burley with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. Then about halfway through I suddenly realised '*! I would actually rather have George Burley than Owen Coyle.'

The joke didn't seem so funny then. :54::smiley-laughing002:

Was listening to radio Scotland for the match earlier on and before the game they reckoned it was Keane as he had went to 11/10 or something like that at the bookies today. Seriously I would consider not going back again under him. Really want Moyes now please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please

It's crazy but when you think that the board gave Lennon a chance when he was untested this time around it makes you think anything is possible. I know Burley wouldn't be a popular choice but I think he would probably be a success.

If Keane had spent the last 2 or 3 years with MON in the Ireland setup then i would have been more at ease with him getting the job.....but he hasnt.
