I know I've said many times before that MON was our highest earning manager on £20k a week, which nowadays is considerable low. Murat Yakin was on £25k a week at Basel, whilst Moyes was on about £90k a week and Clarke maybe £30k? But guys like Bilic are 'only' on something like £14k a week, surely it a risk here and there is worth it. I know Mowbrey turned out to be a colossal waste of money, given the fact we paid £2m in compensation for him and then gave him a hefty pay-off aswell but that isn't the norm.

The budget will be a massive stumbling block aswell. Im startng to worry that we might not invest massively this Summer. And the idea of Lawwell getting to choose who we buy is sickening to be honest.

It's a weird period for our club and for all the good that Lawwell has done, I'm starting to become disillusioned with him and his 'vision' (if he has one).

Seriously hoping it isn't Coyle. My decision to not to renew my season ticket will be justified if it is him

  3. Best news I've heard day! I genuinely panicked that it was Coyle.

If nothing else, I will now be a lot happier with whoever becomes manager if it turns out NOT to be Coyle.

  4. Coyle keane or di canio no thanks

    Glasgows green and white!

It's like that South Park episode when they need to decide between a giant douche or a * sandwich.

  6. Coyle isn't as bad as being made out here. No compensation payments to worry about too, so more finances for him to rebuilt the side.

As a fan, the prospect of fresh ideas is quite exciting.

  7. Does he normally play a 4-4-2 ? And honestly what style of footbsll does he try an implement

    Talking about Owen coyle btw

  8. That is disturbing! :56:

  9. Owen coyle and patrick nevin :56:

    Wait a minute :97::54::31:

  10. Who gives a **** about finances. It'll cost us a * of a lot more if we employ a sub-standard manager. Failure to qualify for Europe and waste money on bad players. Anyone ahead of Owen Coyle.

Moyes and Keane are also not welcome.

  11. Yes. 4-4-2.

He helped Bolton transform into a good, easy on the eye, attacking side. When there previous style was the Sam Allardyce hoofball.

  12. Given the anti-Coyle feeling on here and on 'Kerrydale', I cannot believe Dermot & Peter would be so daft as to appoint Coyle as he is very much aware of season ticket sales and bums on seats. I have been concerned for some time that, financially, we are aiming to do enough to win the SPFL and maybe squeak into the CL Groups. This managerial signing will give a clear indication of where Dermot and Peter are pitching the Club for the years ahead.

  13. Couldn't it be 4 year ago he didn't want to be peters puppet. New he's got no other decent offers he's thinking, aye Pete I'll be your puppet now son?

  14. If Coyle gets the job it just sums up the lack of ambition from the board .

  15. If we bring in coyle, i'll be sick..

  16. Me too, literally!

Moyes would be a poor choice of manager. Failed disastrously with Manchester United, and he is a blue nosed Fergie sychophant. He can * right off.:50:

  17. Agree way Keane but Moyes? Don't be silly, he's one of the best managers we've been linked to.
