Lomas, Coyle or Wright. These are three men we have to speak too.

Definitely - although, WBA having been eyeing him up for a while.

People are too obsessed with a big name. Coyle will do us.

The Board run the Club like a business, which I like and they have played a lot of emphasis on budgets and money from European competitions, with Europa League as a minimum requirement. We don't need a Manager to win the League - probably anyone on this forum could do that job...even Terry Butcher couldn't mess it up.

So we are looking at someone who will organise the Team at fairly low cost by European standards, can make mistakes in the League (and still win it) and (hopefully) get us into the CL Groups or Europa Groups at worst. That for me rules out Coyle - 1 good year at Burnley and then nothing - and Mackay who only did it at Cardiff with money.
Moyes has done it at Everton with little finance, but why would he want to drop down to the SPFL....even with us ?
Henrik has a great CV as a Player but done very, very little as a Manager, so it's a 'No'.
Lambert gets high praise from his peers both in UK and at Dortmund, did a great job at Norwich on a relatively low budget but has done nothing at Villa. However a few years ago he more or less asked why he would manage at Celtic when you play the same team x4 each year with no competition.
Jackie Mc, has learned the trade at both Partick and Dundee Utd and is still learning.
Garcia has done it in Israel and a good job in a very competitive Championship. The fact that he left, for me, says he is ambitious and wants to achieve at a bigger Club. However not sure how he would fare in the Glasgow Goldfish Bowl.

So my short list would be,

    1. Jackie Mc
    2. Garcia
    3. Lambert

Wild Card - Ivaylo Petev : Limassol and ex-Ludogrets

    That's no even funny mate

Would like to think that the manager will be appointed this week. Horrific timing for all of this. CL qualifiers to plan for, season tickets to punt. Surely to * an appointment is close.

To be honest though, if we were to appoint an underwhelming manager our share price would fall - big Pedro wouldn't want that now would he.

It would be in the boards interest to appoint someone decent.

Pat Nevin as assistant????? * dream come through! He'll be a great influence on the players and I think he'd do an excellent job.

But Owen Coyle as manager, we're just far too lucky here. Well done Pedro, we all thought it was doom and gloom, looks like we've upgraded.

Just think of the songs that Nevin could introduce? Ditties like 'Glory golory to the Hibbies' and 'Sunshine on Leith'. That's why he stop 'supporting' Celtic wasn't it, our songs weren't catchy enough?

    Must be a wind up

Oh no Coyle is odds on with every bookmakers. I reckon the support might just have something to say if this happens. Pretty sure Malky McKay Roy Keane would go down a lot better

I don't want coyle, but could live with him if I had to. Nevin on the other hand is the lowest of the low, and would never be accepted by the support. SURELY the board realise this
