NORWICH want Celtic talent-spotting chief John Park.
They have made him their No1 target to fill a director of football role. And losing the successful head scout would be another hammer blow after the shock resignation of Neil Lennon.

Park — eight years in his role since chief executive Peter Lawwell poached him from Hibs — has become essential to Celtic’s proven transfer operation of spotting potential stars worldwide, buying them at modest prices, developing and then selling for big profits.

Victor Wanyama was Park’s most lucrative discovery, costing £900,000 from Belgians Beerschot in 2011 and sold to Southampton for £12.5MILLION just two years later.

It’s believed to be 50-50 on Park staying or going.

I envisage a dream team of Griffiths as top striker, Di Canio as the gaffer & Nigel Farage as director of football.

A no nonsense, call it as they see team set to inspire us to glory.

Lenny and Mjallby both leaving have really * the MSM for negative Celtic stories this Summer so they resort to rumours regarding our Chief Scout instead. Predictable.

Nevin would be good, it would kill the atmo even more inside CP if he was to come in, he would soon stop the 60% who still agree with rebel songs and get more of the plastic support in that the guys in the old stand would agree with:86:

Not much chance of him, but Yakin linked with the vacant spurs job.

Think we can rule him out.

I love Di Canio as a footballer and he is up there with Lubo and Henrik in the talent department. That said he * off after one season and his political views are at odds with the vast majority of our support. So he can want the job all he wants but he has zero chance of getting it.
