Moyes is the best move to make but most likey the most expensive option which definately rules him out

You appear to be the one that's clueless.

Mackay's time at Watford was hardly anything to write home about and despite spending over £35million on players last summer he was still looking likely to get Cardiff relegated. Hull spent way less than that and stayed up and look at what Tony Pulis did with Crystal Palace, he did a far better job than Malky Mackay was doing despite not having anywhere near the money to spend that Mackay had enjoyed.

I'm not totally rubbishing the job Mackay did at Cardiff because he did really well to get them promoted in the first place but if you think his CV is just one long line of success stories then it is you who is clueless.

Is there some article, that doesn't write the usual bollocks about the background of the candidates, but describes their coaching methods and the way their teams play? What players and tactics do they prefer, etc. That could be interesting comparison.

I know, as much as I loved MON I really think Hiddink could have done something great here, possibly even a European trophy.

Coyle for me. Much more experienced and done well at all his clubs, bar Wigan. Keane at Sunderland was horrendous.

Plus Coyle, looking at his news conferences, he is very similar to Lennon. Full of passion and enthusiasm for the game. Mr Positivity, full of self belief.

Terrific man manager too, look what he did with the likes of Wilshire & Sturridge at Bolton.

Roy Keane is tempting in one way but frightening in another. He certainly wouldn't take any pish off the Scottish media, that much I do know.

I think Guus would have won more than MON (LOVED Martin) but i reckon Hiddink could have won a Euro Cup with us. (trophy)...
Big Roy would stand his ground with the media, players and the board imo.:50:

Keane's record in management isn't great, I've no idea what kind of football he would want us to play or what sort of players he would try and sign. He's obviously well respected in the game, and I would obviously get behind him if he was appointed, but I don't think it would be a great move.

If Coyle gets the Job what's our position?

Most Fans and I speak for only myself IMO I think we will all just say not what we really wanted but * it lets support him all the way, it's Celtic we love and Celtic will still be there long after the individual, so it will be what it is I just wish we get on with it and give the person whoever time to get in and set us up ready for CL qualifiers, because if he has no experience he's going to need all the help he can get, and be skidding in by his * a few days ahead of the first game.

As for Peter Lawell, his philosophy is to run the club with prudence he doesn't want to be the guy that * the the best club in the world up financially, like your man Murray at Ipox, he is wanting to hand over the baton to the next guy knowing he left the club in a better stable position than he received it.

I would like nothing better than to chase the dream of Europe and bring the great times rolling back, * I would give them my last penny to see us succeed again but reality is unless we move to EPL and the money comes rolling in we all sit and wait and hope that we can get to the group stages or last 16 and maybe just maybe last 8

The one thing I do know you have to play with the hand you were dealt with and make best of the situation so winning the league maybe a cup or 2, going through a season unbeat these are the things we will need to judge on until the EPL come calling.
