Put money on Steve Clarke, my sources tell me he's extremely keen :50:

Also the Barca style of football is about 3 years behind the times, we should be trying to play the Bayern or Dortmund style of football, * Barca they're *.

We simple don't have the players to adopt those styles effectively in Europe.

That's the main worry. We get a guy in who tries to play expansive or possesing footy in Europe and we get pumped.

Some guy at the bar just said he had a reliable tip and to put some money on Craig Bellamy :smiley-laughing002:

I told him go get to * and ring a taxi. Easily the worst tip someone has ever tried to give me.

Worst 'tip' i've heard so far is Mark McGhee

That's both Charlie Nicholas & Davie Hay seriously suggesting Keano as the new manager,
Charlie was probably out his * at the time but Davie Hay :40: He's a better suggestion than Keane

Oscar Garcia, would be a great manager for us, I think he would enhance our style of play and people like, commons, Virgil, johansen, would be able to lead the rest of the team in this style of play, I really think he would take us to a better level of play if not the next level.

If we ever have a hope of achieving in Europe then Garcia or a European Style of play is the way we need to go, hoof ball is dead long live tiki taka passing.

I'm sure he was quoted as saying if he was approached he would sit down with Martin and discuss it...

If we want to show some ambition and forward thinking then Thomas Tuchel is the man we should be appointing. Recently left Mainz but I don't know if he has any other job lined up. Excellent young manager who does alot of behind the scenes work in terms of sports science. A real modern day manager who would take us forward in my opinion.
Worked wonders really in the Bundesliga with very little budget.

Interesting read on Tuchel and his tactics.

I earlier said I wanted someone like Mackay or Lambert but thinking about it, now is exactly the right time to experiment a bit.
