Moyes would be a huge coup, I would * love it too!

Exactly mate we all thought, and rightly so, that he'd be a great fit. Just didn't work out that way.

In regards to the argument a few pages back, Mowbray's Celtic team did NOT play tika taka, passing football. He brought the worst, most disjointed football I've ever seen from Celtic. There were was no quality passing or attacking flair. He brought nothing in terms of style. We haven't tried passing football in the league in a long time, worth a go now imo.

Moyes is dire. Can't listen to the man for more than 30 secs. Malky Mackay's brand of football is brutal. We don't have many options but I'd love to see Jackie get it. Intelligent, got Utd playing great football at times and he's someone who would really appreciate the job. I'm looking to get my season ticket back for next year but if either Moyes or Mackay get the job I'll be gutted and might have to reconsider. Would rather a foreigner if Jackie Mc is not plausible

Oscar Garcia seems very interested in the job. We could do worse. Sign him up Lawwell.

I don't know where you get this we all wanted Mowbray from FFS :smiley-laughing002:
Half this board was against Mowbray being appointed.
Mowbray had just relegated Middlesborough to the Championship when he got offered the job. When Mowbray was manager of Hibs he rolled over to Rangers and let them win the league.:31:
No we did not all want Mowbray for the job.

Mowbray just got Middlesbrough relegated when he came here? Well that was mighty * impressive since he never took over till after he left here

Mowbray didn't take over at Middlesbrough until he left us.

    Most of us wanted him.

It was better than watching strachans team in his final season! The only difference strachan knew how to play unattractive and win!

Option number one for me would be David Moyes, would be just as happy with Oscar Garcia though

I tell you what I'd take WGS back in a heartbeat. Controversial opinion probably but loved him as boss. Epitomised the never say die attitude.
