Complete agree. I'm fully behind Coyle if he gets the job but it will take some convincing. I hate the Celtic man *, as if Lawwell reckons that is all it takes to keep us happy!

Lustig is doing just fine as he is?

If coyle is appointed then it shows a complete lack of ambition from the board, * YOU Liewell.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
I still think our best option and most sensible one is Moyes as our manager, with Larsson as his number 2.
Moyes will want to do very very well and prove to the countless doubters down south that he is a good manager.
His objective to reach the last 8 of the Champions League,to us that is like winning it,anything more is an UNREAL bonus!

My worry is the board go for the cheapest option ie. john kennedy or Henrik Larsson I would imagine that is among the cheaper options as much as seeing henke back here would be great in a way I would be worried that he failed as a manager and that was my last memory of him :( but I don't know my wish is to get someone with bags of experience and whos not afraid to play nice attacking football.

1st post as im new to this site.

i would like to see either Malky Mackay or Steve Clarke given the job. I am based in Cardiff and seen alot of Cardiff City over the last few years and big Malky had them playing well in the championship and premier league. Not the most flambouyant in terms of free flowing attacking style but well organised and pretty good with the ball at feet.

Steve Clarke also sets teams up to play football and he will have experience in a coaching role in european competition with chelsea etc so again wouldnt mind if he was given the nod.

what i dont wanna see is Owen Coyle as i agree with others on here that he would be the cheap option and would set us back rather than pushing us forward....also its too early for Henke as well and id hate to see him come and not do well and have sections of the support turn on him and ruin the legacy he left with.

EDIT: with regards David Moyes, im not so sure bout him, yes he would do a good job but can u see his goalkeeping coach in a celtic top? dont think it would go down to well....do you?

Larsson has rejected an approach from an unnamed club.

    Of course. So will everyone.

Don't think anybody will not, no matter who we appoint.

Been confirmed to be us. Mackay looks set for WBA.

We are left with Coyle, as the only natural choice.

Coyle isn't that bad I'm sure he'll do well.

If Coyle is appointed I won't renew my subscription to CelticTV! :smiley-laughing002:

Seriously though, I wouldn't look out my window if one of his teams were playing in my garden. His football is terrible to watch.
