One thing about Henrik coming back, which looks very likely now, is that crowds will hopefully increase by a good few thousand for the first few home games at the very least.

Henrik as manager and Steve Clarke his assistant? I'll take that every day of the week

Proves nothing. There are countless examples of it happening the other way.

    Just saw it there!

Duno, the owner of Larsson's club is saying Henrik has told him he will see the season out. They are only 10 games in.

No, it proves that the opposite is true of the post I was replying to. This idea that it's "too soon" is *.

    If he's a good manager, he's a good manager.

Just been hearing from a Wigan fan near me that Rosler is seriously intrested and would resign at Wigan to get the job

I think now is the PERFECT time to bed a manager like Larsson in. With no sevco the league is won, he can learn his trade better, gain experience and win the league in the same season.

The only challenge is Europe, but getting to the group stages with him in charge would already be an achievement, anything else is a bonus FOR NOW.

    This could work people

    No idea who!

No-one has mentioned Paul Hartley. Any reason why not even a mention?

We need a manager who realises that the days of Celtic signing big money players is gone.

We need someone who can work within the system we have in place, which is signing young players for decent amounts, bringing them on and selling them at profit. Rinse & repeat.

No, you're wrong. Difficult for you to take that, I see, but you are. Sorry.

    Nope, absolute nonsense.

I'm arguing against this idea that it's "too soon" for Larsson to get the job. If he's a good manager and has displayed the qualities required then he should get the job.

The "doing your apprenticeship" view was all well & good twenty years back when the manager was in charge of a lot more, but in this day & age where we're seeing plenty of young, former players take the mantle at clubs it simply doesn't wash.

Of course Rosler phoned this fan and told him this and at the same time undermined his own position at the club.:56::56::56:
