Lambert has always said that he wouldn't like to manage us. He thinks that the pressure would be too much for him. He may change his mind though, we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, they will. People would be buzzing about it, at least for the season ticket renewal time. I've heard a good few people say already if Henrik gets it they're getting a season ticket.

Please don't be Keane or Coyle. That is all I ask.

There will be a few extra hundred season ticket holders, but I cant imagine the mass renewals that were being talked about on Scotland Tonight, last night.

Few hundred maybe not thousands. Also any extra buzz that comes from Larsson returning as manager, will be gone if we're * out of Europe. Fundamentally, the board have to get this one right...otherwise this is going to be a long season.

Personally, Thomas Tuchel. Although he's meant to be taking over at Schalke 04.

Hearing heavy noises it will be Larsson, Houston and another(the name escapes me at the moment) will be next in charge.

    Agreed.

A lot of fellow Tims on my facebook had barely heard the news about Lenny when they were out calling for Larsson to replace him, not at all giving any consideration to Henrik's abilities or experience as a coach. It would be a real boon for the club as fans blinded by romance would happily part with their hard-earned.

    What about Wim Jansen ?

At the beginning of the 2008/2009 season Jansen took up the position of assistant to the head coach of the Feyenoord first team

And the buzz will last until his first 1 million pound signing and us losing another player and we will be right back where we are now.

I know. Doesn't mean it won't be enough time to get bums on seats though.

Exactly, and this is what people haven't taken into consideration.

If (though it looks less and less likely now) Henrik were to take the job and it all went wrong, the people who were clamouring for his appointment would soon develop short memories.

Think we can cross Larsson off the list now.

Seems pretty straight up choice now between Coyle & Mackay.

Edit : Mirror - Mackay linked with the Newcastle job.

This guy Garcia sounds promising, especially tactically. Please not Coyle.

Why are folks so against Owen Coyle? I think he would make a good appointment.

I am kind of worried that lennon has supposedly said he will be helping find the next manager.
I would have hopped lennon told the club weeks or months ago he was leaving and we would be further along with this, but maybe he only got his next job offer this last few weeks.
We are going to end up spending most of this window just getting the manager in place and then running round like headless chickens trying to sign a few *.
    Hope im wrong though.

Seen it mentioned on HB, some poster said as far back as March that Lennon was going in the summer & Coyle would take over. Saying their source was Coyle's number 2 at Bolton.

Got slatted for it, but seems to be happening.
