Herve Renard has come out of nowhere. Would be an interesting choice.

Someone mentioned Hyypia. I'd add Ralf Rangnick, Giovanni Trapattoni, perhaps Lars Lagerback.

Malky could turn out as another Mowbray. Renard could be worth a punt? He worked miracles with Zambia etc. Moyes is still the choice of my head, Larsson is the choice in my heart.

Or he could be just as successful as Lennon every appointment is a risk Lennon was a gamble that paid off well

Two good young Scottish managers...Why do you not rate them? They will win us the league, for that there is no doubt.:50:

Hope it is concluded pretty soon, with CL qualifiers fast around the corner. Draw in a few weeks time. How long you think it will take roughly; a week, a fortnight?

Why don't we go for a female coach?

Michelle Mone, the bra tycoon, she's a Celtic fan.

Malky is still at 6/1 at betfred, just stuck a tenner on him, think most places have him down to 4s.

Has to be Jackie McNamara for me personally, a lot of moaning about Lennon not giving youth a chance when we had the league done and dusted. McNamara would do just that and hopefully bring a couple of the Dundee United prospect over, as they are going to be the standard of signings and plenty of potential tbf.

Also i think Lennon wanted a new challenge of course but definitely fed up with the penny pinching going on at CP got a hunch that not offering Sammy a new deal and then refusing to give him money for an adequate replacement was the last straw.. McNamara would be asking considerably cheaper wages than Moyes and Malky, no doubt impact the decision making process :97:

I want MacNamara, but I don't think he'll get it unfortunately.

I hope it's not Coyle. He had his chance and he went elsewhere. I'm all for bringing back players who've made a mistake in career choice but Coyle went to some English dross over us. His record since then has been pretty poor so maybe it was a lucky blessing.

I wouldn't go for MacKay. For some reason, he just doesn't appeal to me.

There'd be too much pressure for Larsson to succeed here although he'd have the pull when trying to attract players. Would he come here? He moved back home to Sweden and I can't see him leaving for very long if he did come here.
