Loving the idea of Mackay more and more tbh Craig Bellamy as his assistant as well

really don't want Coyle. Last two jobs proper flopped.
And since we seem to be a club dedicated to rebuilding every year might as well start from scratch and I'd rather see John Kennedy taking over than Owen Coyle.

Think Malky is my preference though.

I'd take mackay, was going a good job at Cardiff until he got * over my that madman. Mackay with Henrik as his number 2 would be ideal, but I can't see him giving up the job he has to be assistant.

I'd love it to be the laudrup wieghorst combination but I can't see that happening. Looks like it will be between mackay and coyle, and coyle is the last guy I'd want.

Think they were interested in Sherwood.

Malky is a good character as well and the type of leader you'd want as a manager, met him before one of the CL games this season too.

Stuck a tenner on Malky at 4/1 as a cover bet.

From what I've heard so far, Malky has been talking to Celtic whereas Owen Coyle hasn't had any contact yet. That could still change of course.

Yeah looks increasingly likely that it could be McKay.

    Odds shortened to 4/1.

I'd be quite pleased if we get him tbh.

I wonder if Mackay was offered the Norwich job but turned it down once he realised Celtic were interested? (If)

I was thinking that myself, shocked they have given Adams a 3 year deal he didn't exactly set the world on fire in his games in charge

Andy Walker is absolutely correct in that Lennon left because he was sick and tired by the way the board has been running the club and that he has not been given the financial support. Whoever is going to be in charge is going to face a huge uphill task:
    Champions League Qualifiers
Risk of Van Dijk and Forster leaving
and of course the transfer budget.

Moyes, McNamara, Malky or Henrik- any of those 4, but please, dear * above, make sure Owen Coyle isn't appointed, I will not be renewing my season ticket if he gets the top job. He failed at Bolton, and he failed at Wigan. Not good enough, Larsson could do a job- Lenny had no experience and succeeded. Malky done ok at Cardiff, sure he would do a good job there. Moyes would be a great appointment, good for both parties.

What budget, our recent managers always have said there is no set budget 'but' the club will help get in the right people or words to that effect

Hope something prevents the appointment of the most talked about candidates.

Indeed. What reputation Malarkay has to warrant being Celtic's manager? Hyypia is way better, and as a former elite European defender, he'll know how to make Celtic tough in Europe.
