Brown, Mulgrew, Johansen, Biton, Henderson. We definitely have the numbers even if Kayal goes, id like to see him being replaced by someone with real pace and trickery from the centre of midfield. Its something we lack.

Expected him to go anyway, shame he never really returned to his old self. Wonder where he'll end up.

I'd like to see us go for Armstrong. With Brown, Mulgrew and Biton capable of playing the defensive mid role, I think Armstrong would be great. Reminds me of a young Ledley.

seems like he fancies himself too much and lived off his first season with us. Could have been dynamite. Injuries seemed to have disrupted him in a big way. real shame.

If we get a bit of cash for him, I'd be delighted.

We should let him go out on loan for 6 months

The fact we usually play 3 in midfield makes me think 5 isn't enough. Barebones when there's an injury or two, Brown has a history of injuries, Mulgrew usually misses parts of the season and is back up for two other positions, Biton's been injured this season and Henderson's a youngster.

Johansen seems all right just now but I'd be happier with another body in there if he goes.

We'll go for either Craig Bryson, Snodgrass or Armstrong from Dundee utd.

It's a shame that * McCulloch ruined his career. Anyway we got to thank him for the one game we one vs Ajax at home he was the best player that night, Good luck Beram.

The midfield is absolutely key in Europe, it really depends on how far you want to go in the competition. Do you think that midfield beats the best teams in England, Italy, Spain or Germany? For that you'll need players who have a bit more experience.

Don't mind Kayal, good player to bring on as a sub but i think his time is up, surprised he hasn't walked himself already.

think we should give him pre-season and the qualifiers at least before deciding to offload him

Good squad player, no need to get rid unless a really good offer comes in.

Kayal has never really been lucky injury wise while with Celtic. He's never been lucky enough to get a long run of games, but I wish people wouldn't write him off just yet.
Remember when Izzy came back from his injury, how many of us thought he was finished ? Kayal has a toughness & a determination about him, hopefully he stays injury free this coming season :50:

My recent memories of Kayal is watching him make a terrible mess of things in front of the goal. This would be for the best.

Aye he is pretty * in the shooting department:smiley-laughing002:

A honestly fought he was dynamite in his first season. Specially against the huns he was class.

If he goes I'll miss him but it want bother me. But as someone else says if he wants to stay then I'll be delighted as he's a great back up. And if he ever did reach his form he had before his injuries it'll be like a new player.

It's a fresh start for all this players with the new management coming in.

Hopefully the change in manager will do him the world of good, along with a few others.

Still disappointed lennons gone but it's exciting to see what lies ahead.

This doesn't change anything a new manager coming in, he should still be shown the door This Summer.
