    :50: The guys a legend his knowledge of South American football is frightening, you could phone up and ask him a question about some random team in say Ecuador and he could give you there history and how they are performing today without missing a beat.

    People used to do just that on the early morning phone in, as I'm sure you remember!

    Caller: "Hi, Tim, Jasper * here, it said in the paper today that my team is trying to sign some guy called Juan Grassy * from the Venezualan 5th division, what can you tell me about him?"

    Tim: "Well, Jasper, he's a tricky winger with a bit of pace who ia certainly a bit of a prospect, but IMO he lacks upper body strength and is a little small for the English Championship and a move to Spain or Portugal would suit him better, at least initially."

    Lost count of how many conversations there were like that, he was almost never stumped.

    I'm still in shock. That was the weirdest game I've ever seen, absolutely unbelievable.

    * delighted that Germany are through, but the fact that they humiliated the Brazilians makes it that much better. I thought Germany would win but not in that fashion, * *. The period between the 10th and 30th minute was the strangest stuff I've seen in football, never mind at a World Cup.

    Come on Germany, now is your time!

    It's astounding, almost to the point that it looks set up. Brazil just fell apart even after 1 goal, the 4th was hilarious. The way Fernandinho or Gustavo lost the ball just before the half way line I mean...wow. Didn't even look like he knew where he was.

    Oh and something really * * me off there. Stuck on Sky Sports News for 5 minutes and Tony Gale was talking.

    Started saying that "the England players must be watching that and thinking that German team could have been us", saying that the German team and players are no better than the England team. I * hate those arrogant, thick as * *. Get a grip. You're lucky if two English players would get in that German team.

    I'm quite pleased that all happened to Neymar. Missing the biggest game of his career with the back injury he pretended to have to get Brown sent off, only to watch on helplessly as his team get roundly pumped.
