I didn't boo him, I never cheered him though either.

When the players were coming off the bus everyone got a shout up until Leigh came off and then it was mostly silence.

If he is staying right enough then he has a long way to get back in everyone's good books.

That's not really true though, because the sheep mentality of football fans would have made it extremely easy for other people to boo him if they wanted to. The people around me were pretty annoyed that others were booing. It wasn't just people not booing like you say, it was people clearly annoyed at others booing.

I'm not sure there's really anyone that was happy about what he did, i don't know how you could be, i just don't see the offence some people have taken on here reciprocated in the stands.

 

I wouldn't have booed....nor do I get really why he has been booed. However the fans paid their tickets and have the right to express their views how they see fit. It's their club after all.

 

I'm not following you here.What is not true ? I don't think the use of the word "offended" is particularly useful to be honest. It misses the whole point of the discussion around Griffiths.

I wasn't offended by what Griffiths did but I was disappointed and think if he wants the support of Celtic fans he has to change.

 

A lot of people on here wanted him sacked and a lot of people were offended by what he did because of the connection between refugees and Celtic. Dunno what's difficult to grasp about that.

 

I don't think it is about being offended. What he did was wrong, It didn't offend me.

Sorry but has Griffiths actually been proved to being guilty of anything yet? He's a * granted but isn't that all we actually know at present.

 

There is a thread in pub at the minute about what is the most appropriate word for any given situation. Personally I would suggest that Griffiths actions amount to him being more than " a *". I really don't have enough faith in the Scottish Police or the SFA to wait for them to tell me what I should think.

 

I do take your point about the police and the SFA but seems many have him hung already. Actually sick of the whole situation.

 

He did tell an Asian Scotsman to "get to * back to his own country".

Apart from that is all about conjecture and using your common sense to decipher the rest.

 

The same Asian Scotsman who had previously randomly tweeted Griffiths with a barrage of abuse about his appearance......
