    I'm just interested to see how Celtic and Leigh deal with it once the investigation is over and they are free to comment on it.

    Why are the Celtivc fans ( or posters claiming to be Celtic fans ) so worked up by the possibility that Leigh Griffiths may have sang a " humorous racist chant " . Surely we are supposed to be part of the one big Celtic family . If any of my family were accused of doing wrong I would support my offspring as much as I could . I think every family member would .
    At least wait until he is found guilty in a law court or by the SFA .

    Prison is a different thing than being charged. You can be charged for calling someone a 'bad name' just now. *, bring the offensive behaviour football act into it and there's been a ton this year :56:

    Surely to satisfy a small but vocal group of our posters the Scottish assembly could bring back hanging as a once off sentence for Leigh Griffiths which would probably satisfy this group who are afraid that he reoffends .

    If a member of my family said/sang something racist, I like to think I love them too much to support them in their racism.
    You make racism sound like a lifestyle choice or something, "dear little Leigh came out of the closet as a racist last week, his dad has disowned him but the rest of his family were soooo supportive: apparently his sister said she had always known he was racist and his mum said she didn't care as long as he was happy..."

    If it is indeed racist then it's at the very low end of the scale. It really is far far from the worst thing I've ever heard and am a pretty PC guy. I've had worse said about me and in my youth said worse, certainly sang worse in the pub.

    I have people on Facebook that want him hammered. These same people post or laugh at jokes about that Oscar guy killing his gf or natural disasters claiming hundreds of lives.

    The sooner this saga is over, the better.
