I agree with you completely. To say we judge a player on football ability alone is naive. We all judge each other, rightly or wrongly. It's called moral fibre. What Griffiths did flies in the face of the CLUB'S moral fibre and everything we were founded on. Times change and opinions move on, but racism is something we can never deem to be acceptable. Not as a club or as a support. Griffiths was guilty of two things, stupidity and racism. He needs to be educated on what he did, on the clubs principles and start acting like a responsible *. This is his big chance, sadly for him, he might have blown it within 2 months. If he can't learn from this or show any sort of contrition, then the club will be left with no choice but to let him go.

Exactly mate well put,the closest Celtic player recently I can compare this to is Di Canio,and we all know how much his views versus talent split the fans,but at the end of the day our moral compass should always point us in the right way,I'm not saying it makes us any better than anyone else but it sure is a step in the right direction

Of course it does, it would be remiss to think otherwise. We have always been vocal about who are and what we are about. This affects our identity and ethos. To gloss over it as a wee singsong is wrong on many levels.
