Get it right * up them if this stands.

All their fanboys the world over like to bang on about how they get by on their youth academy rather than big transfers (which Barca do as much as anyone). We'll see how they get on now when they can't * millions to Brazilian's parents.

This wasn't about the Neymar transfer, and none of the nationalities of the transfers they were punished for was mentioned, unless your somehow proxy to differing information that is

I didn't say it was about Neymar. I was making a point about how Barca will be * by this because contrary to popular belief they spend vast amounts of money on high profile signings, like Neymar.

It's only contrary to popular belief if you're a fanboy. Zlatan, Fabregas, Neymar, Alves to name but a few.....no different from any of the other top teams.

Ok if you say so why your little quip about millions going to Brazilian parents, you and I both know what you were getting at and yes it was wrong the whole Neymar saga, but this was a totally separate issue which Barca and the Spanish football authority have been found guilty, plus both Real and Atletico are subject to further ongoing investigations this is about more than just one club, though a lot of people would rather it was just one that got dealt with I suspect

I was getting at exactly what I said I was getting at. :97:

I've never implied that they got a ban because of Neymar, you just misread my post. What does your last bit mean anyway, that Barcelona have been hung out to dry? Aye that sounds like Barcelona, they never get a fair deal do they? :smiley-laughing002:

Is it just me that thinks this doesn't make any sense? The guy said they've spent loads of cash, you're disputing it by mentioning them having success? Whit?

It'll be interesting to see what Puyol and Valdes do.

I wonder if this will effect their ability to take players from their B team.

Surely not? Its not like they sign players from the B team. They are owned by Barcelona

This could lead to a whole host of clubs being investigated, all the big teams poach youngsters from different continents, and most of the clubs are the big hitters like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea etc. One of the youngsters, Lee Seung-Woo, who is involved turned down Real to go to Barcelona. Liverpool and Man City are now trying to poach him.

But is it classed as a whole different club by FIFA ? I'm not clued up on how they have it set up but I always thought they had to wait for transfer windows to transfer players back and forth.

I think out of all the top teams they have produced more of there first team players than any other.

Hate the love in with Barca. Remember they played a reserve team against Benfica last year and were very lucky to escape with a 0-0 when a Benfica win would have knocked us out?

    * them. Punishment not severe enough.

What * love in? Sick of idiotic comments like this. Even the Barca fans on here, like MysticPenguin, are saying * all. Give it a rest.

Anyway, I'm sure this will be lessened, at the very least. Valdes is gone, either way, as he's injured for the rest of the year. I heard this ban would be for 2015, so technically they could pull off some moves in the summer to shore up.

If it does stand, they can always use it to blood "B" team players and pay off their debts.

Yea because they take their academy seriously, and essentially have the pick of all the best Spanish youngsters because Real Madrid don't take it anywhere near as seriously. And they're obviously far bigger clubs than any other teams in Spain.

Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi and Puyol I think are the ones to properly come from their academy. The likes of Pique and Valdes spent time at other clubs and then there's ones who they let go but then brought back like Alba and Fabregas.

I think that's all right anyway. I cba to check. Yea, to produce those top quality players themselves is unreal but some seem to suggest that they're some holier than thou top club who don't spend much on transfer fees and instead rely on their academy when that obviously isn't the case.
