Have a feeling we've seen you on here before, given the tone of familiarity.

    Out-
    Sammy
    Kayal
    Mouyokolo
Forster(don't want him to leave but looks likely to go)
Forrest (too injury prone, team plays better without him to be honest)
    In-
Robertson(good left back cover for izzy)
    Marshall(depends if Cardiff get relegated)
Gauld (great potential would fit in well)

First thing we should do is keep hold of Forster and VVD.

Samaras will be off and I would sell Pukki and get Balde out on loan and Mouyokolo will probably be away. I would keep the rest of the squad with younger players going out on loan.

    Players in-

    Competition for Izzy
    Experienced CB
    Defensive Midfielder
    CL experienced striker.

If offers of £10 upwards come in for VVD and Forster then they will be off but every penny of that should be reinvested in quality replacements for them, not two more projects.

Would agree with Kayal and Mouyokolo as outs. They'll most certainly be gone in the summer.

Out: either Lustig or Matthews to make room for Fisher, either Ambrose or van Dijk, but not both, Baldé (pref. out on loan), Pukki (unfortunately ... I like the guy, but that's business), Sammy (it's time), Mouyokolo (we hardly knew ye), and Kayal.

In (hopefully): Aron Jóhannsson, another GK, and another DF (maybe two).

Jesus *, we are not banned from signing older players. I'm sick of this signing policy patter - yes it's our long term strategy but it doesn't mean that anyone who is over 28 won't be a target.

I'd like an experienced player in the summer (30+) who's played at a decent level for a couple of years.

    Out

    Samaras
    Pukki
    Moyokyolo
    Rogic
    Forrest
Forster (don't want him to but he prob will go)
Plus 5-8 youth players who haven't made the grade - twardziks etc

    In

    Striker
    Right winger
    Left sided midfielder (LM/CM)
    Backup left back
    New keeper

Why would you want to lose Lustig or Matthews?

Two genuine classy players and incase you haven't noticed, we're not exactly drowning in classy players.

We should be doing all we can to hold onto players like that.

Matthews can also be moved to RM, and actually was moved there before his injury.

Why do you want one of our CB's to go as well? Makes no sense to me.

I was quite critical of Hooper leaving, but I'd welcome him back with open arms. No question.

    I have noticed.

    I like them both.

It's just ... Matthews' post-surgery performances didn't impress me at all ... and now I'm leaning towards seeing him go so Fisher can continue to flourish and develop behind Lustig for a few years.

    Maybe I'm wrong.

Dear *, he's played about 5 games since coming back and clearly wasn't fully fit.

    Give him time.
