    But we'd gain a lot more from taking on their coefficient than what we'd ever give them back by contributing to it provided we ever got good enough to qualify for Europe.

    We play in a foreign league at the moment so it would be an improvement to play in a decent foreign league rather than a * one. I believe we would be treat better by the governing body in England.

    I just think its crazy the amount of fans who are willing to give up the Champions League in exchange for playing Aston Villa or Everton on a Saturday. I'd rather have a few big nights a year with big clubs like Real Madrid and Milan than play in that boring league with all their boring fans.

    I'd much rather a strong Scottish league but I can't see that happening any time soon. England would be the best option financially for the club and the stadium would be packed out every week.

    It wouldn't change the fact we're a Scottish club, Cardiff and Swansea are both Welsh clubs.

    No they dont, the country has nothing to do with it, it's the same club how does it gain more representation or encompass more people just because its playing other teams?

    Celtic arent a National team, we play for ourselves.

    If you think we compare at all player by player with clubs like Chelsea, Man City, or Manchester United, or even Spurs and Arsenal, you're really in for a laugh. We'd never reach the top of the league in the EPL and if we ever did it would be a one-off thing. Joining the EPL would be the death knell for Celtic competing in Europe. The death knell.

    How do Celtic play in a foreign league ? They were founded in Glasgow. Celtic Park is in Glasgow. Glasgow is in Scotland.

    The Lisbon Lions were Scottish. All born within a 30 mile radius of Celtic Park, in Glasgow, Scotland.

    So tell me ? How do Celtic, the Scottish champions, play in a foreign league ?

    Think you're missing the bigger picture by a mile here, right now player for player we'd struggle for sure, but with the increased finances how long would we be employing players like the ones on our books now?

    Do the bottom rung clubs in the EPL have the same calibre of players as clubs like Man City? No. Because thats where we'd be in the EPL. Bottom rung. Fighting relegation, right from the start.
