Oh dear, I need a lie down. The poster ilovetheceltic says I don't know about running a football club because his opinion disagrees with mine. :54:

You still have yet to prove how someone else couldn't have done better or would be able to do better if Lawwell left. You rely on your unfounded admiration of Lawwell, then scorn others as if they don't know about business. Typical

Good ? The stadiums near half empty every home game. Were all the people that used to occupy those seats ''hangers on'' ?

Are you just looking for a reaction ? Old firm fans ?

I dont even know what you're talking about, explain how someone could do a better or worse job than someone has done. Im not a magician or a psychic ya fruitcake. I dont care about Lawwell, ive got no interest in him but I do know he's great at his job, one of the best in the UK if not best and therefore probably one of the best in Europe or Worldwide working in football.

Fans that 'need a strong Rangers' to get excited about watching Celtic and to go to games. Old Firm fans is all they are, they were never Celtic fans to begin with, we're better off without them.

As for Lawwell, hopefully he leaves ASAP. A horrible cretin who doesn't care about the fans.

You're right from the standpoint that you have no idea what you are talking about. You claim Lawwell is arguably the best in the world. That would imply that you could prove nobody could do it better. You can't prove that so your statement is your blowhard opinion and you feel that those who'd disagree are "fruitcakes" or whatever. But feel free to make it personal against me because that solidifies your point drastically :50:

They don't need Rangers to get excited about Celtic. I am excited about tomorrow and the league is wrapped up and we are playing a team full of kids who are relegation bound. I am excited about seeing players like Johansen, Griffiths and Biton getting a run of games. I do however miss the buzz of the old firm games. It was that something extra to look forward to. Many people lived for it.

You have to realise there are Celtic fans who * hate Rangers with every ounce of themselves and want to see Celtic run over the top of them on the pitch. To them being above Rangers is all that really matters. That desire to see Celtic above Rangers stems from their love of Celtic and not just their hatred of Rangers.

The thing that amazes me is the number of Celtic fans who considers themselves good judges of Chief Executive. To be quite honest I don't have a notion what constitutes a good C E but what I like about Lawwell is that he kept Celtic on the straight and narrow and honest whilst the Rangers cheated from top to bottom .

I never said he was the best in the world, I know hardly anything about the CEO's outside the UK, I said id guess he'd be in the top 25 and id say for sure he must be among the top 4/5 in the UK, probably the best.

It is you who is saying he isnt doing enough to earn his wages, we could get someone better or he is being paid too much or whatever or making out like he's only here for money. To claim that you'd need to be deluded or stupid.

Nobody can prove anything that hasnt happened. I can guess or predict like I have done.

Im as excited about tomorrow as i ever was for any 'old firm' game, maybe even more so.

Earlier you were posting people who say they don't miss them are lying and can't admit they actually do miss them. I can tell you hand on heart that i don't miss them one bit and would love nothing more than their zombie newco to go bust without ever reaching the SPFL.

I hope we never play them and want them to cease to exist. You're earlier posts insinuated anyone who feels this way is lying and secretly misses them, that's simply not true.

Id say Brian Quinn and Fergus McCann deserve the credit for that.

    Absolute pish :smiley-laughing002:

You are actually just lying through your teeth with that statement in bold. You are more excited at the prospect of playing Hearts youth side than you ever were about playing Rangers ? Don't insult peoples intelligence.

Have you ever been to Tynecastle?

Tynecastle has always been the best away day in Scottish football, far superior to Ibrox. The atmosphere is miles ahead of anywhere else in Scotland.

The atmosphere at Ibrox massively declined in the latter years of the dead clubs existence. When they were alive i always looked forward to Tynecastle more than Ibrox.

Recent events have added even more spice with Lennon being attacked on the pitch.

Tynecastle is the best ground in Scotland for atmosphere.

Im looking forward to giving them a good send off tomorrow more than i was some 'old firm' games.

Why is that so hard to believe?

I don't need them to get up for games.

Seeing Celtic at the best away venue in Scotland is enough for me.

If they stopped following Celtic because Rangers no longer exist, then yes, quite obviously they were.
