Regardless of whether they agree with Rebs at games, they surely must disagree with Celtic fans being arrested and prosecuted for singing them. Whether they think we should sing them at games or being into the Republican thing is a separate issue, this is about freedom of speech, the harassment and draconian treatment of Celtic fans for singing a song.

 

Its about protesting against your fellow supporters being arrested for singing a song, being a Republican is irrelevant.

 

If anything this is a smart move from FAC. The way they're handling it is perfectly fine. As some have said there's far too many supporters now a days who are selfishly putting their concern about other people before fellow fans who are being arrested and harassed for doing * all wrong.

 

A few thousand people buying a song won't make a bit of difference.

 

You seem to know alot about these internet posters. Sons of Celtic fans, life long, season ticket holders. You should have posted this in the "real supporters" thread as you seem to imply they are bigger Celtic fans than me.

I have had a season ticket for 3 years before my second child was born when it became to expensive to maintain a season ticket and travel over from Ireland to games on a regular basis. I am also the son of a Celtic fan. Does this give me a right to an opinion?

All the money is going towards the legal funds of people being dragged through the courts. It will make a difference to them im sure.
