Good point. Griffiths is not the first player we've signed with baggage.

 

Never has a guy looked more terrified to join a club. That's the bad thing really.
Opinions have swung full circle and people have to be commended for stopping for a minute and judging it on football, how he plays, the quality of goals he's scored, the fact he's often created them himself and the assists, which are sometimes ignored.

He's the kind of player we sign. A good all round footballer, with a burst of pace that comes from fitness and a bit of aggression.

Some people get spurred on with criticism. They get more determined and it gets channeled into energy on the pitch.

Rosco has scouted his poise, movement and posing ability since he first seen him 5 years ago and closely watched as he walked into Celtic Park and got the photos taken.

 

I have just watched the Celtic TV interview with Leigh Griffiths and I was impressed. Leigh has the right attitude and wants to do well and prove his doubters wrong. I was a doubter but no more and he has my full support. I am sure he will do well and I hope he starts in the League Cup tomorrow. I also hope he becomes a regular for Scotland. So his development can help us domestically for Celtic and internationally for Scotland.

Yeah of course I'll support him, but still have doubts about him. Like I said in the welcome thread, I hope he proves me wrong and shoots us in the Champions League and scores hundreds of goals for us.

 

Of course, right up to the point he has played his debut game and hasn't scored after 38 seconds.

Some folk on here are fickle but I'm sure as * no.

Whoever voted no... how can you call yourself a celtic fan? I'd support * kris boyd or paul gascgoine if they were in the hoops. They are celtic players and you have to want them to do well for the good of the team!
