Has been poor for a long time . "Worked hard " showed great fight etc and got a couple of goals but even then he had the same problems in his game . His touch is generally poor and his movement is very very predictable . We need to sign a striker in the summer , maybe two . He isnt good enough if we want to truly progress as a side.

    I agree with you.

Scepovic should be in the frame for Sunday.

His ball control is atrocious. Brown played him in perfectly with a great pass and he missed the ball completely:31:

Who would folk rather have him or scepovic who looks like a rabbit in headlights....anyone who's seen him play can see Scottish football is not for him and the 1 or 2 goals he's scored have hit aff him or it's been from 2 yards.......griffiths puts a shift in at least. He allowed an off game. The second string players have proved tonight why they ARE NOT in the team more.

Not the player some on here like to pretend he is. Slightly better than your average Scottish league striker, but there's no need to pretend he's something special. Decent squad member maybe, but things are grim if Leigh Griffiths is Celtic's main striker.

Forgot about his penalty, but he was brutal at the weekend too and got the luxury of a penalty. Never scored 2 btw.

Last goal was against St Johnstone I'm sure weeks ago.

    He's been mince of late.

    * * this place.....we are praising and slagging players up and down all over the place after one good game or one bad game.

One game we drop points and he does not score and now we need three strikers in the summer.....un * real.

We cant afford to have 3 european class strikers at the club and will be * lucky to find one who wants to be here.
Griff and stokes are good splfl strikers and will win us the league and once JG * off stokes may well be moved back to a striker roll.

It's not one bad game though is it? He's always been bang average. He has pace, works hard on the pitch and in training and always gives his all, but he is not good enough.

Nothing wrong with aiming for better, wullie. Don't see the need for having a go at fans who want better than mediocrity.

People need to remember this lad NEVER made it at Wolves FC. That is the standard we are talking about here. He looks OK in Scotland but that's it. He's NO Tony Watt

Of course he wants to be here, for a player of his quality this is as big a stage as he could possibly achieve. No team with more money and or European football would want him. Others would probably still give Guidetti a chance. If it isn't here, it's the English Championship for Griffiths.

Nothing wrong with wanting better, trust me i want better as well but we have to get real with our demands.
Like i said we need a couple of strikers for our league goals and griff and stokes and maybe even whats his name will get them for us.

But we don't have the money to replace all our strikers because they are not european class.

If we are lucky we will find one to replace JG,but we need players like griff and stokes who will get us our bread and butter goals week in week out.

Have to agree with this. There always seems to be an extreme in one direction or another. Beat Aberdeen and push Inter over two legs and we're European contenders, lose to St Johnstone midweek and we've got average players again.
