Leigh Griffiths

To be fair to Leigh, he has worked so hard to get himself into the position of first choice striker.
He must take massive credit for the work he has put in and has dealt with the adverse publicity for stupid off field antics.

His attitude has been first class and he has seized his chance.

 

Gudetti was good for a few games man time to put your hard on to sleep

 

Well we could spend 10 mil on Bangura,Pukki,Balde,Micu,Lassad et al(wages included),but I think I could safely say that Griffith has already scored more than all above already.

Well let's be honest what has gudetti done in his career to merit all the praise he gets on here ? He's been pish for months and even when he was scoring he wasn't great he was just decent.

If any other player never scored in 12 would you still be saying he's class etc ?

I'm actually delighted with how Griffiths has been playing, and against most teams on Thursday I would be happy for him to start, I just strongly believe Guidetti is more suited to how we'll need to play against Inter. That being said, if Griffiths starts and plays well I will gladly admit I was wrong.

It's the slagging of Guidetti which I cannot understand. He has shown that on form he is clearly a quality player, I don't see how that can be argued. People who were singing his praises a few months now have completely reversed and actually seem to take satisfaction when he misses a chance/when Griffiths scores.

some of us want guidetti playing because we think he will hold the ball up better and keep possesion . stop exaggerating everything .

 

You have yet to prove to me why he's not * ? What has he done in his career to justify the Hardon you have for him

 

20 goals in 23 games for Feyenoord. There was a stage where he couldn't stop scoring this season. He is only 22, yeah pure *..

Id say Guidetti isn't * but he's played *.

He is a decent allround footballer, similar to Stokes but with added height and power so should be better than Stokes at worst and more capable of leading the line and playing up front. But so far he's not done much at all, he's capable of being a lot better than he's shown.

Hes actually been like Balotelli at Liverpool. Where Balotelli on his day is world class but if you'd never seen him before he played for Liverpool you'd think he was absolute *.

I wouldn't say he's played * on the whole at all, only during his barren spell..
He was a major plus when the team wasn't clicking, thanks to his imagination, goals and winning us games..
