I said before posting it "I could have easily said something about the 'tissue' joke" in response to you saying some * about me not saying anything back. That comment was then met with several people laughing. I then said it.

You lot are the ones that continuously quote my posts one after an another until I eventually reply.

 

If he scores 16 goals by the end of the season I will be extremely impressed. Double figures would be good, but 16 be superb!

Massive, massive over reaction to this signing. We've not bought Nacho Novo ffs.

He's a better goalscorer than any of our other strikers - though what that says about our current striking situation is depressing.

Ultimately though we've not payed big bucks, he won't be on huge wages, and he's much more likely to settle in and score goals than any of the foreigners we have or wanted.

He'll probably finish our 2nd top scorer this season behind Comminho.

Great optimistic outlook man Not only that but he is still very young and could easily turn into another Scott McDonald for us. A cheap signing with loads of goals

 

Happy he is here though i don't think we need him just now we've bagged the league it's just the cup to worry about, I thought we should of waited till the summer and bought a proven european standard striker for £5M but Lenny is obviously confident he can be our man, though he is inexperienced in europe so was Hooper.

 

Really didnt want him to sign but with the way stokes is playing, that 2 on 1 sums up his season for me, I can't wait till the thumb is in the team

 

He will have my full support now he is here like any player would.

This guy has some baggage to him and what worries me is the scrutiny betting is under at the moment within Scottish football and that worries me with him, the media already have a field day with Stokes because of his dad and his connections which is annoying enough as it is because they look for anything to damage this club, with Leigh I hope they don't then have another reason to try and damage this club.

The Griffiths signing could go either way. I could see him being a success in the mould of McDonald or maybe even Hooper. Or he'll crack under the pressure to impress and turn out to be another Derek Riordan. He definitely has ability though. The good thing about this is we know what kind of player we're getting. With some of Lennon's more recent signings we haven't got a clue if the guy is any good or not. At least we know what Griffiths can do.
