It isn't a myth. However some teams are less defensive than others. Motherwell came and contributed to the game. They played some good stuff and created chances but we still won comfortably. Most of the time the opposition will spend the majority of the game camped in their own half hoping to get up the pitch via a counter attack/set piece.

It makes for painful watching at times

 

Signing the £6m striker everyone wanted would have caused the exact same problems.

I honestly dont understand the thought process of the SFA. Window shuts at 11, must register by 5pm to make the player available for the next match.

Was it the last window that they closed early? Everybody had until Monday but Scotland closed on the Friday? So Scottish clubs could lose players but not strengthen. Farcical.
I read that the English FA have a full team in until 1am to process paperwork on deadline day but the SFA admitted they have a skeleton staff in. Deadline day is about exciting, pomp and frantic deals, unless you work at Hampden.

We have a backwards association running our game - bit then we all knew that.

Every spl team that comes to Parkhead are like a carbon copy of one another- sit behind the ball then attempt to hit us on the break.

No,that it's a myth teams come and play with 10 men behind the ball at Celtic park..

 

Aye they all play a counter attacking 4-5-1, 6-3-1 or 5-4-1 (basically 9-1-0) with the two back rows sitting just inside and then just outside their own box, the 1 forward in the centre-circle getting the pish took out him by our centre-halves or occasionally a team will play a a 8-1-1, 8-2-0 or 8-0-2 sometimes we get to see the mighty 10-0-0 where the opposition dont even have a guy ahead of the two lines of defence who attempts to get forward, this is usually only seen 2 or 3 times a season.
