I've said a few times that I'm not offended. I just think it's a bit odd to see from a Celtic supporter. People on here confuse disagreement with hatred, paranoia, offense, etc. Sometimes people just don't understand and try to clarify, which is what I'm doing now. I don't think it's a jump in logic to assume that when you tell somebody "I don't see why you get upset there" about the comment, justifying it by saying that he's Asian anyways, that you kind of agree with the sentiment. If not, cool, but don't get upset for the way it's taken.

 

Griffiths later apologised to Mr Iqbal, saying: "Got to apologise to @zaq_iqbal for my comment earlier, was out of order!"

Mr Iqbal responded by saying: "I don’t really get offended about stuff like that anyway because to me at the end of the day its all banter."

Again i would argue that it was an ignorant comment made in the heat of the moment after the guy insulted him by calling him 'thumb boy' not very clever but i wouldn't say he was racist.

 

Hardly belittled him.
