    Talk about a * overreaction :rolleyes:

    Is is any more of a joke than you dismissing him before he even plays a game in the hoops? For the record, he wasn't first choice on my list - mostly due to all of the baggage that comes with him. I'm certainly not going to complain about it though. He's shown in the past that he can score plenty goals and we need that from a striker right now. For the price he isn't a terrible option.

    Overreaction? Who was after him then? Hibs?

    Letting players like Ledley go and signing Griffiths is a step backwards. We are never progressing or moving forward by letting our top players go and buying players unproven in Europe.

    He also isn't going to put bums on seats. I don't see too much of a clamour for tickets to watch Leigh Griffiths on Sunday.

    I'll reiterate though, if he is now a Celtic player I'll get behind him and hope that he makes me eat my words.

    I think it'll be a great signing. He has proved he can score goals at this level and that's what we need. Remains to be seen if he can cut it in Europe but before saying he won't be able to or he will, he needs to play in it first.

    Remember we brought in Johansen who could fill the void left by Ledley. Johansen might turn out a decent player.

    Look at it positively. We have got rid of Bangura and brought Griffiths in. Scraping the barrell here I know. Ledley is a massive loss.

    It's just really galling that we are letting top players go and replacing them with maybes and might do's, you know?

    Feels like we are having to start again all the time, it's frustrating.

    we sold hooper wanyama and wilson and replaced them with players who were unproven in europe and we still made the group stage, what more do people want.
