    When was the last time we actually signed a striker that had a good record in Europe though? You could make an argument for Keane, which was only a loan anyway, but I don't know what his European record was like.

    Hooper, Larsson, McDonald and most of our other good strikers in the last 10-15 years didn't have great records in European competition before they signed for us, yet it worked out well anyway.

    He is a £3m pound striker who Neil Lennon said would be similar to Hooper and he has only scored 4 goals so far. He isn't good enough. If you think making some smart runs is good enough then you know * all about fitba :smiley-laughing002:

    So much negativity surrounding this signing. Personally am happy with it as I rate the kid.

    Think alot of posters will have egg on their face soon enough, I also think some need to get off their high horse and give the guy a break and a chance. We all can come across as * from time to time, and am sure we arent all blessed with good looks either so aye, chill.
