Be nice to see Armstrong, Ambrose and Boyata follow suit. Probably hoping for a bit much though.

Also want to see the back of Janko but can't see that happening either.

 

I think it's the right time for him to move on but don't see why he can't be successful elsewhere if he gets anywhere close to his POTY form, agree he is probably better than Fulham.

 

Hopefully the first of a few before the window ends.

Best of luck stefan, great first year and a half but he looked a limited player last year.

 

All the best to him. He may have been frustrating as * at times but always came across as a stand up bloke. His reaction after the Astana game in going over to celebrate with a few disabled fans in the north stand was a touch of class. There has also been no spitting the dummy out in the last month or bad mouthing anyone when it's seemed clear he wasn't in the manager's plans. Hope he does well for himself down at Fulham.

 

He will shine at Fulham- just like Kayal does at Brighton!

Good to hear this, he'll be one of the higher earners.

 

I wont miss him one bit and thats a shame really.

Getting another player off the wage bill that is surplus to requirements can only be a good thing.

 

Hope he does well, looked very promising at one stage, always tries his heart out, just didn't go as well as expected. Best of luck Stefan.

 

Good move for him. They're on the up again after years of struggling. Can see them in the play-off mix this season. He'll do well for them & we get a decent amount for a player that's out of the picture for us.

 

I'm struggling to think where it all went wrong for Johansen. His first season and a bit here he was excellent. His passing was good and he was a goal threat. Latterly he was running around the park giving away needless fouls, not creating anything and the goals dried up as well. It was like watching two different players.

A strange one.

Suppose it could be a few things; low on confidence, lack of enjoyment/motivation, issues in his personal life but I've still got the nagging feeling that he was an average player that had an excellent season/6 months or so & he's reverted to his level. Even when he was flying, I never really rated his passing or technical ability (got stick for it at the time) but I stand by it.
