    I'm white but it still offends me.
    Mind you I don't get offended when someone say '* the queen.'
    I've been known to use that phrase quite a bit myself.

    not exactly. the original christian church broke up in 1054 on geographical lines. the west become the roman catholic church and the east became the orthodox church. therefore neither is the true church.

    shes the supreme governor but she has no power in the church of england. the archbishop of canterbury deals with that.

    if you were christian you would know what it is about. look at the nicene creed, all christians are supposed to believe in 'one holy catholic and apostolic church'. 'catholic' coming from the greek 'katholu' (unsure of spelling) means 'universal' or 'referring to the whole'
