He should have been off earlier regardless, as he was putting in another poor showing.

Agreed, Rogic deserved a start to be honest.

I thought so as well. Johansen is getting picked because of his form from last season. We all know he can be very good, but he shouldn't be an automatic pick. Some on here seem to think otherwise.

Rogic as a central midfielder? Think that would be asking a lot from him.

Yeah I understand why he got picked, but players should be picked on current form. Rogic I think will definitely be starting next few league games.

Can't be any worse than Johansen has played in central midfield this season.

Don't really think so mate, like I said he's not at his best and against Ajax he was shocking. Still though, he playd a crucial role in the system we were playing. He has the fitness and robustness that he can play that deeper role and also be up supporting the attackers.

I'm agreeing with you mate. I think players should be picked on current form as well.

I like Rogic, but Johansen still has more to offer defensively.

I mean on current form and so far this season. I thought he was too drawer for most of last season, seemed to have it all in his locker. But this season he looks like a player who runs about and tries dead hard but doesn't really play that well.

His passing this season has been shocking, lost count of the amount of times he's gave the ball away and been sloppy in possession. His first touch has been dodgy, his shooting has been pish, and outside of the box he bottles it and ends up losing it. Everybody keeps saying 'aw but he worked hard running about closing people down'.

I barely noticed he was playing last night, it looks like something behind the scenes to me, it doesn't make sense for a guy like him to be this *.

Correct. He is still a better option in Europe until Tom Rogic proves otherwise.

He's basically in there because he has the energy, but he isn't a Cm he goes out of position far too often, it's proven that he plays best as a CAM. Games like last night we really need someone like Darren Fletcher to be able to sit in front of the CB's protect them and be calm on the ball, then have Bitton and Brown in front doing the running.

How does he do that exactly if he isn't being given the opportunity in Europe, even though he is outperforming Johansen domestically.

He could start by showing that he is a better defensive option than Johanson in the SPL. This would help his case for starting ahead of him in Europe.

I wouldn't say he has looked any better or worse than Johansen defensively in the SPL, and has been a better player than him in general. Both have been playing in the same position domestically, and Rogic has been the better of the two.

He certainly looks to have more guile which I am a big fan of. I have yet to see him have a similar engine to Stefan though, which is why Ronny plays him there in the first place. If it is guile we need then i'd have Commons in there before him and Stokes on the left. Both of those are cleverer players than Rogic from what I have seen.

I would say Rogic is a better ball player than all of the above. I think he has more technical ability than Commons. Commons is more likely to pop up with a goal though, I will say that. Stokes is a complete non-starter, because it's pretty obvious something has gone on behind the scenes. You don't just fall that far out of the picture when you were a regular starter not all that long ago, unless there is more to it than meets the eye.

I dont care he should sort it. Stokes is a better player than some men who are getting games. He is good for 20 goals and 20 assists in Scotland a season. He was also good in Europe last season in terms of creativity. Time for the manager to mend fences I think.

Bollocks. Every time he plays he's * useless. Waste of space.

Its amazing how some people still bash on about Stokes when its clear he has no future at the club.
