Is it just me who thinks Paul Hartley has contributed nothing to Celtic? Strachan seems to favour him for some reason. He even broke up Brown and Donati's partnership today just so he could accommodate him in the middle of the park today? And when Naka came on he hooked off Donati rather than Hartley? Donati spread the ball well today and played a few clever balls through today unfortunately we didn't have a striker with pace to get on to them but he chose him to come off rather than Hartley?

I'm sick and fed up with Paul Hartley.

donati didn't have a great game either. gave the ball away too many times imo. had his name been hartley there would have been two threads about him by now.

Hartley are more attacking than Donati. That's my guess...

Hartley played ok today. I think people are still judging him on last year. He plays reasonable in the unit. The only thing is he is nothing special and has not yet shown many hints of his Hearts form where he took a game by the scruff of the neck. His form this summer so far is adequate and although not sparkling it is better than some of the JJ, Grav, Lenny etc performances last season. Its not a big issue anyway cause he will probably not start when Naka does.

i do not rate him at all. did ok today, but that is not really good enough is it? i would have rather kept donati on and swapped hartley for naka.

have u seen a handsome hun
by the end we were bypassing the midfield with lumps into the box.
    thought brown faded badly
didnt recreate the good first half he had in the second half.
    same for donati.
hartley looks lost and unsure of his role.
mcgeadey promises much and fails to deliver a killer pass.
and i'm sorry but jvoh doesnt impress me at all.
and magic disnae look 100% fit.
he's looking for someone to make things happen.
i want our centre forward makeing things happen
    naylor looked uncomfortable.
    mcmanus looked shaky.
on a plus big dallas was immense as was wilson.
    gk brown did nothing wrong.
    sorry.

At least Strachan has the sense to ditch Gravesen and Jarosik.

He didn't get pass marks today and your right to say that you could have had your pick of bad players today.

But I'm sick of seeing him constantly getting a place in the starting line up for 6 months without meriting it.

This was Hartleys best game in a Celtic top and was above average he justs needs a goal or a good performance to help him

Donati has played 1 competitive game and is adapting to a new culture , climate and language

Hartley had NONE of these problems and has had 6 months :31::31:
