Can blind people have dreams?

Why do Americans build wooden houses? Especially in places that get hit by tornadoes and the like

 

As some time in the next coupe of years I am going to be one of those homeowners in America with a wooden house...

Because it's dirt cheap. Many Americans live in relatively rural areas. Building a wooden house is nothing compared to brick and mortar.

 

Is it the Greeks or the Chinese hes after?

 

It doesn't matter, as long as you can have a go at the Greeks, it's all good.

 

Aye, thats what I kinda thought it would have been. But why build them in the areas that are always hit by tornadoes or hurricanes? They would just have to keep rebuilding them every time. At least brick and mortar has a much better chance of staying up

Same reason millions live on the slops of volcanoes - there is an economic benefit to doing so, in the case of volcanoes they have very fertile soil around them good for growing stuff, like Naples and tomatoes.

I'd guess the same reasons apply to towns and villages in tornado alley. People have jobs there. I'd guess the originally European settlers there settled there to farm the vast expanses of land available.

 

They act like the ma and da. The child at an early age calls them dad but soon comes to hate them and grows up to be a cross eyed serial killer

Aye, I'm no questioning why they live there. Just why they continue to build wooden houses in these kinda places when a tornado will just rip it to * every year

It always confuses me when I saw a wooden house being shredded by a big * tornado
