  1. absolute pish!!!
from the team the subs and the atmosphere absolute pish.
zuravski couldnt score in a barrel of fannies and big vineger isnt doing it end of.
im not millers biggest fan but this game screamed out for him
oh and naka looked nackered shouldnt even be on the bench
cmon gordon lets be honest about riordan if he is being a drunk and a * let us know ,if youve fell out with him tell us.
we need a world class striker or you can forget cl

  2. The main point in the debate over Miller and Zurawski is that Miller works and creates bit doesn't finish but Zurawski doesn't work or create but scores goals.
In the last two games he has had 5 gilt edged chances and has messed them all up completly. If we are going to have a non-scoring striker then we should have Miller in the team because at least he has some other strings to his bow.I'm no fan of Miller but unfortunatley he is the best striker available at the club atm ,although I think McDonald will do well when he returns fron suspension

  3. I watched the match online... I think we played good, but we don't have the chance in this match... Scott Brown played very good. It's for good this 0:0, and I think the players must be more insistent...

  4. The Hearts days that is a classic phrase :56::56:

  6. its a shame your back mon the hoops, the place was better with out you.

  7. Its not about the chances you make, its about the one's you take.

  8. The topic is celtic v kilmarnock

Not have a go a mon the hoops

you can have your cheap jibes if it makes you happy

id rather worry about our shabby team than about somebody who supports his country before his club :50:

  9. Ano m8 :50:

  11. Not watched the game yet will do tomorrow ..going by the score the only positive point i can gain from it is that we have a clean sheet :97:.......It will give all the TC doubters a field day "Told you so" and all that !! :38:

  12. I'm afraid im one of those doubters
Ive seen a day like this coming for months
I wished i was wrong and theyd prove me wrong but i was sadly correct

At least we have 2-3 weeks to get players in and get rid of the dead wood :50::celt_2:

  13. We have carried on bad form on from last season, We will struggle without a proven goal scorer I have my doubts over this season

  14. In my choice of team earlier, I wanted Miller and Riordan in for Zurawski & Hartley. Although I think Hartley and Zurawski didnt have a bad game, I think we would have finished chances better with the pace of Miller and the finishing ability of Riordan. Hartley and Zurawski didnt offer us "an edge" to use.

More game time and finishing school all round is needed.

  15. Aiden McGeady admits he is frustrated after Celtic failed to mark the start of the new season with a win against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Gordon Strachan's side endured another mixed pre-season but insisted their summer results would have no relevance heading into the new Scottish Premier League campaign.
However supporters hoping for a sparkling display in their opening game against Kilmarnock were left disappointed as Celtic failed to break down the visiting defence.
The Parkhead clash failed to take off, and McGeady believes the players must take collective responsibility for the goalless draw.
He said: "It was very disappointing. We wanted to start the season with a win and we find ourselves two points behind Rangers already.
"Obviously there is still a long way to go, this was only the first game of the season and it takes time for the players to gel, but yesterday was far from our best performance.
"We didn't create too many chances. It was more scraps in and around the penalty area.
"The supporters came to the game to see the flag being unfurled and they expected us to put on a show, but it didn't quite happen."
The winger said in the Evening Times: "You can't single anyone out, but I think everyone was playing below their usual standards.
"We really should be beating Kilmarnock at home."
The surprise of the opening game of the season was an appearance by Shunsuke Nakamura.
The Japanese midfielder had only returned to Scotland last week following the Asian Cup and had not been expected to play any part.
He barely had a summer break but came off the bench to play for the final half-hour.
Last season's star man in the SPL was unable to produce the magic required to break down Kilmarnock's defence, but his presence was an indication that Strachan considers the 29-year-old too important to leave in the stands.
He could feature again at Falkirk on Saturday, when Celtic will look to recover from their false start at a ground they both won and lost at last season.
Strachan's strikers came in for criticism after the stalemate, with Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Maciej Zurawski both short of their best form.
Celtic sent a strong XI to Ireland today for games against Finn Harps and Galway United.
However the strikers competing with yesterday's front pair for selection were not expected to be involved in either game.
Reserve-team coach Willie McStay did have Thomas Gravesen, Steven Pressley, Bobo Balde, Evander Sno, Gary Caldwell and Darren O'Dea at his disposal though, with tonight's match against Finn Harps their first test, before the Galway clash on Wednesday.

  16. One point i noticed was Donati was made to look bad.

He was calm and composed but the cutting , reverse and sliding passes he played threw the opp defence were made to look stupid as there was no pace or runs up front. If miller or Mcdonald were playing even tho i knw Mc was injured then we would of faired a lot better imo and still in the midfeld Scott Brown was wasted out on the right he is better in the centre were he can grab the ball and charge foward , and Wilson kept 'trying' to run up the right wing but we didnt have a natural rm on so why play up the right why not the left?
