Celtic is definately a Scottish club

 

Celtic Fc ARE a Scottish club that was founded in Scotland, has its stadium in scotland, has always played in Scotland and always will (imo) and to even ASK this question is a total waste of time and i am surprised at u regi for asking it! Yes of course we have STRONG Irish connections and a LOT of our main fanbase is irish but it DOES not and indeed CANNOT change the fact that we are a Scottish Football Club.

I would just like to say that my grandad was from County Cork and i see myself as a Scottish man with irish blood in my family.

Celtic is the same as it is a 100% Scottish club with irish blood in its lineage but it is still Scottish.

 

Who gives a *, in Paradise we find common ground and share the same passion for the Worlds finest team.

I see Celtic as Scottish and Irish hence the name "Celtic", based in scotland although 80 to 90% of our fans are of Irish descent which is why theres loads of tricolours at paradise. Were scottish because were based in scotland but were also Irish becasue of our roots thats why celtics fairly unique

Dont agree with much he says but he is entertaining - its hyper, OTT, random and brilliantly not thought through. Just guessing but his views on this thread and the one about club or country are likely to get him banned again straight away

What I like most about Celtic is it's inclusive nature. That has always been there from the begining. Instead of being called Glasgow Hibernian the club was called Celtic to be all embracing.
That is how I look at the club, that it is a (K)Celtic club which all (k)Celts be they Irish, Scots, Welsh etc can embrace and be proud of.
