And fans have a right to be critical of his views on the matter. Especially if it slaps a big percentage of the support in the face.

So change yourself so you are viewed acceptable to the bigots basically?

Why did the black folk in America never try that man! It could have solved everything :97:

Would you tell any other immigrant group they have to 'change' their culture?

    Scotland's shame.

    And here we have it.

I never thought I'd see a Celtic fan agree with the 'both as bad as eachother' *.

    * brilliant.

If it was about the football we'd be supporting Barca or Bayern Munich mate or whoever the most beautiful football around was when you were a youngster, the clubs far more than that and that's what i've got in me, not just the 11 players on the pitch.

Lennon's heart sank when he noticed the banner but only felt a 'tinge of disappointment' at the result on Tuesday/CL campaign. Least he has his priorities set.

My mistake. When you wanted the green brigade to pay "the fine" I thought you disagreed with the banner.

    Lol now you're being daft.

We're supposed to live in a mixed community. Everyone should respect everyone else.

Aye - I agree re the ethos of charity etc which of course does separate us in a fantastic way - but to say it's not about the football at all seems a bit weird? For me, the fitba is a pretty essential part of it all!

"When you pull on that jersey you're not just playing for a football club, you're playing for a people and a cause"
    Tommy Burns

There's a man that understood it. He wouldn't have came away with that pish today.

Group of guys wanting to carry on a perfectly acceptable tradition, hung out to dry by the very man you would hope would understand where they are coming from.

It is a football club though. Celtic Park is a football stadium not a political arena. There is nothing worse than going to watch a football game and have a group of people ram their political beliefs down your throat. All I care about is the football and Celtic doing well both on and off the pitch. That is all that really matters at the end of the day.

What are they banners going to achieve anyway? All they do is give the club a brass neck.

Obviously it is but it's not THE thing, if you get me lr we would all be supporting teams that have the best football on the pitch.
