How would you rate this big * ?

Up there with Hartson and Sutton in terms of ability. Imagine he had stayed here and worked his * of instead of being a big wankstain.

Had a decent career, to an extent, after leaving us but does that compare to being considered a legend by our fans ?

If he'd have stayed, I reckon the partnership between Larsson and he would have been twice that of Larsson and Sutton.

What an incredible player he was: power, flair, class, clinical finishing and the ability to come up with something out of the ordinary. He was also fairly unselfish at times also and was a fantastic partner for Henrik.

Too bad he turned out to be a *. as good as he was for Celtic, he will never be forgiven for refusing to play for us.

* him.

Could've played at the very top - has a great goal-scoring record despite being a lazy, often overweight, *.

If it wasn't for Viduka being an arsepiece we probably wouldn't have seen the Larsson sutton combo! Really wish berkovic wasn't one either

Best striker I've saw for us outside of Larsson. Including Hartson, Sutton, Hooijdonk, Cadette etc.

Shame about his attitude.

Went onto forge a decent career after leaving us - one of the few that has went onto better things than from their time at Celtic.

Hmmm I'm not sure about that. Didn't he reach the semi finals of the Champions League ?

You're certainly correct in terms of medals though but I'm not sure he'd have swapped it.

Perhaps but prefer to deal in facts – if he had stayed then who knows how things would have worked out. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

... I actually totally forgot about that. Medals, Champions League and the UEFA cup final under Martin though. Is that better or worse?

Got to the UEFA cup final with Middlesborough.

Other than that, he was no closer to picking up any silverware outside of his time at Celtic.

He was a phenomenal player when he left the Hoops to join Leeds - who can forget THAT game against Liverpool:

Anybody else remember why he stopped calling himself Marco when he signed for Celtic? :97:

Oh I certainly agree with you. I know I'd have preferred being at Celtic and winning trophies.

Footballers nowadays though, think Leeds finished in the top 2 or 3 a couple of times coupled with that CL semi. Some would probably choose that.

Probably.

I'm very bitter about Viduka, he was genuinely outstanding and his attitude was just something unbecoming of someone with his talent. Compare Larsson's attitude to his, I believe he could have hit they heights, had he had the right mentality.

Does the fact that he was an Aussie (who * over Celtic) make you bitter a wee bit also?

For what its worth!
My brother met him in Australia when he was playing for Middlesboro and when Viduka spotted him in a Celtic shop went over to him talking away and telling him how much he loved Celtic.

Another thing is if Viduka didn't leave there would have been no Sutton signed as his like for like 6m replacement

A supreme talent he was.
Never reached the heights as a striker as what his talent showed.
