It's scary imagining this team without Lustig and Van Dijk

Forster was quite poor tonight, his kicking was * at times and he was mega lucky izzaguire cleared that corner off the line. There were a couple of crosses he should have came out for as well.

    Slightly positive spin here.

If we get a draw against Milan and Ajax lose to Barca (which they surely will as they are total *), then the head to head rule has been scrapped and it now comes down firstly to goal difference.

That means that we would go into the Barca game at the very least 2 goals to the good over Ajax and would give us a real chance of staying in Europe.

We need so much better than Stokes leading the line, offerings nothing.

It's a bad time when Virgil van Dijk is the most creative outline in our team, he really is such a class apart to the rest of our team.

Lustig, Van Dijk, Kayal, Forster were all class

Stokes and Forrest (2nd Half) were good too.
Izaguirre was ok but he was very very lucky not to be sent off on a couple of occasions.

Overall we were poor, outplayed and deserved to lose. Onto Milan.

I'm sorry, but that was a * awful performance.

    1) Why the * are we still playing Mulgrew in midfield? Slow, stationary and brought nothing to the team tonight.
    2) If you're going to play Mulgrew why isn't he taking every set piece? Commons not getting it past the first man is infuriating.
    3) Why did Lennon wait so long to make a substitution when it was clear things weren't working long before half time? Where was Balde?!
    4) Why do people worship Stokes so much? Pukki did more in the first couple of minutes he was on the pitch than Stokes did in the entire game.
    5) And this is the most important one. WHY DID THE BOARD NOT INVEST MONEY IN A STRIKER AND CREATIVE MIDFIELDER when it's obvious to everyone that is what was needed most?

On a positive note Van Dijk and Forster (minus a few shaky kicks) - and Lustig were tremendous. * help us if we lose them.

I'm gutted at watching us every single week now wondering were a goal is going to come from :54:.

Big lustig ran himself into the ground tonight, van djik had a great game, kayal and Forster also done well imo.

Defense was great tonight , if it wasn't , it could have been much more, going forward we had nada. but lets think positive and beat AC at home and you never know. ufea cup would be something to keep Europe alive into the new year.

We sold our best players and didn't replace them.

    That's all tonight showed.

We played very well in Milan and at home to Barca,we beat Ajax in the last tie against them, they were just * shocking tonight, lacked desire and the quality they have was not on display.Saying that,we are screaming out for a striker and some creativity.

A soulless woeful performance with too many to name players under performing in what was a pivotal game. Players should be ashamed of themselves being outclassed all over the park by an at best mediocre European outfit. Was Samaras playing? Was Forrest? Commons, no words can describe his performance.

Celtic have played 26 away games in europe, won 1 drew 1 lost 24

Hang your heads in shame, considering some of the teams we have played (Aalborg, copenhagen, Anderlecht etc.)

because we are taking off creative players who score big goals for us and we haven't got the experience or the same or better creativity to replace them...... maybe ?
