I would prefer if Barca beat Milan. They would still need points to qualify if they do.

Aye but apparently they had dropped 3 points and were looking for them.

Can't believe we could qualify if we win the next two games.

I seen a lot of stewards going into the Ajax end at one point, couldn't see what was happening though. I heard on the radio they were ripping up seats and trying to get past the stewards to our fans, any truth in that ?

    was petrov but now McManus
well other than a deflected strike and a penalty, we didn't have a single other opportunity. Ajax had 3 chances they really should have scored from. If we play like that in Amsterdam we'll get beat. But I'm confident we will change the system and only play 1 up top to get a result. I thought sammy was poor surprisingly tonight, the front two put on a lot of pressure but were largely poor with the ball and james forrest doesn't look fit. But the centre mids and the back line held their own and won us the tie. Pleased with Kayals performance particularly.!

Came through Brighton on way home. There was a squad of Ajax fans outside the pub chanting amsterdam hooligans, trying to start a rammy. Quite a few huns mixed in with them too. These * weren't even at the match, challenging old men, women and kids to a fight.

Yes, they were throwing stuff from not long before half time and there was a small band attempting to get through to the Celtic fans for the rest of the game.

    Their fans are scumbag animals.

question: was it only the Ajax Huns that attended the game...? Or was there at least a wee bit of better natured contact wi the Ajax fans?

Or we're they all jus wanks? Sorry. Vanks.

Brilliant European night again at Parkhead- atmosphere was fantastic.

The team were immense- Van Dijk is just a class act. Mulgrew, Ambrose, Samaras all excellent as well but the whole team worked hard and pass marks go to them all.

Tonight maybe shows that the player Kayal was in his first season is still in him- he was great tonight, especially the second half.

Just about to watch the highlights now but it seems Biton was a deserved red- knew the ref was waiting for it but just a stupid challenge to make.

Forster really should be Engerlands number 1 as well but not too fussed about that. Some outstanding saves again.

Hope no one too seriously hurt by the Ajax thugs- looked like a bit of bother after Forrests goal.

The first one is not too difficult. You have defeated Ajax in Amsterdam more than once.
