I was under the impression they'll have their own display, and the rest of the stadium (if they want) will take part in the one the club has organised.

The Greeen Brigade and any other self-respecting ultras group would be doing their own and not relying on club funded displays.

    Like it or lump it.

This is just going to * up the full display. Why cant the GB do it at another time in the game or if its nothing to do with Barca at the next game

This basically tells me what i have always thought and that is The Green Brigade think they are above all the other supporters in the stadium and think they can dictate what goes on in the stands.

    Selfish :38:

I too support and have a lot of respect for what the GB brings to the match day experience.
We are just going to have to wait and see what happens, I would have thought the club would have been in dialect with the GB about this and it might all tie in together for all we know. We have been asked to attend slightly earlier for this display so I will reserve judgment until I see how it all pans out, right now I have faith that the GB wouldn't be so petty as to spoil the display for everyone just to suit some agenda.

    Here's hoping anyway :50:

Because the green brigade organised and put their own money into their display months ago, long before the club announced about their display.

Stupid having a full stadium display anyway, should have been a one-off thing just for last year, special occasion etc.

GB should go with the club one first and their one at half time or something.

Not Every Single Word In A Sentence Has To Be Capitalised You Know?

This whole "We'll do our own thing and we don't care about anyone else" attitude isn't going to do them any favours. Hopefully the two at least compliment one another or it's going to look ridiculous. How petty.

Then do it before or afterwards instead of being difficult about it. Problem solved.

but why? they've put their hard earned cash into this display so why should it be shoved to the back of the cue? If the club were that bothered about a display they should have donated money for last years display. But obviously they wouldn't, because it was still be known as the "green brigade's display" this will be "celtics" it's all childish stuff and should have been sorted out between the two of them, i hope it all goes to plan and both of them are great though:50: & when we beat barca again no one will be arguing about the displays :icon_mrgreen:

The club must have known about the GB display if it was planned a while ago, or unless it's a full stadium display do the GB and club have no communication?

Seems a bit like the club are trying to upstage the GB, obviously could be way off the mark, I hope I am, but if they are that is sad as *.

Whether it was right or wrong for the club to go ahead with a full stadium display in the knowledge that the Green Brigade had organised their own display, we now have a full stadium display planned... it allows every supporter there to take part in it unlike the Green Brigade's and it will make for more of an impression (which is, after all, what we're looking to achieve).

Their display can very easily be moved to half time or before or after the full stadium display. Not so, a full stadium display. Two displays would undoubtedly be better than one anyway.

Instead they'll go ahead with it simultaneously (because Ultras won't be told how to support the club ) and it'll ruin it for everyone else if it's not in keeping with the rest of the display.

But the Green Brigade will have stuck one to the PLC, that's the main thing.

I reckon the club and the GB would have discussed it, they are meant to be 'getting along and resolving issues' as stated by the club. It will be blended in with the GB display if it is two different displays?

    I've heard that too.
I think it's because UEFA consider themselves custodians of the game , and they realise that selling advertising space on a Tifo would be distasteful in the extreme.
Either that or no one has waved quite enough cash under their noses as yet .

That's not what he said. He said they think they are more important than other fans. The Green Brigade think they are a cut above everyone else when they are not.

Why are the issues surrounding the Green Brigade and the club even relevant to a game against Barcelona? We're all there to support the club. If the club are trying to upstage the Green Brigade with a full stadium display (I highly doubt they are), then I don't really give a *. At the end of the day, a full stadium display will get the whole crowd pumped up, not just those in 111, and will have a far greater impression on the Barcelona players and ours than a wee corner of the stadium... which will ultimately give us a better chance of winning, hopefully.

This isn't about the Green Brigade for once. All fans are being given the chance to take part in an awesome display (not an Americanism :86::smiley-laughing002:) so they should just suck it up and do their own thing before or after it rather than detracting from it just to make a point. They'll lose an awful lot of support if they ruin it, from myself as well.
